Emergency Management
Preparation is Key
PCC Emergency Shelter
The PCC office is equipped to serve as a shelter in the event of an emergency. Whether the event is a natural disaster, storm, fire watch, or extended power outage, our office at 151 Nisqually Way is designed to serve as a command center and shelter. It is now stocked with a few dozen cots and blankets, assorted emergency supplies and tools, as well as a propane generator that will keep heat, power and hot water available within the office building.
Pierce County Fire District #23
While Paradise Estates is in Lewis County, we are more closely tied to first responders (Police, Fire, County) in Pierce County. District #23 provides valuable information for planning or responding to events that threaten our community.
